From Santa Clara Pueblo, NM, Ryan Roller has endeavored to keep the art form of traditional pottery alive and thriving through hard times. Using natural clay and no kiln or wheel, Ryan hand burnishes and shapes each piece without the use of modern machinery, or glazes. Fired outdoors without a temperature control, each piece is put through the fire with only our prayers and the will of our creator.
